Dear Prospective User:
Early
in my career at Monaco & Associates, it was apparent that
people providing services were caught in a dilemma: Doing
Good Things for Others meant Doing Paperwork, but
the paperwork was often overwhelming, interfering, or frustrating.
I believed that information technology could be used to simplify
and speed up the paperwork process and to organize information
so that the job could be done even better. Our goal was to create
software in a familiar design with which people in the field
of human services could feel comfortable. The result would be
to free people up to do more good things.
I am pleased to announce that EC3, the third version of our original
software is ready for distribution. EC3 exceeds all of the design
goals that you helped us to set two years ago. EC3 allows you
to ask intelligent questions of the database, to coordinate and
manage more information, to share data with other popular programs,
to utilize your word processing programs for all text development,
and to access the Internet. Please take a moment to review the
features of EC3 as they are laid out on the following pages.
With
EC3 comes a new pricing structure, an annual license fee,
giving you the opportunity to spread the cost of the software
out over several years while receiving new features of the software,
free of charge (instead of waiting and being charged for a "new
version"). The annual license fee allows us to provide
you with a better product, sooner, for less expense, and with
better technical support.
Please see how EC3 can help you do more good things for others
at this web site. If you have any questions about features or
pricing, please contact me, directly, at 800-798-1309 or 785-272-5501.
Very
truly yours,
Gregory E. Monaco, Ph.D.
